Quote from Legends in medicine and entrepreneurship

Brief:

The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni is a powerful leadership book that explores why teams often struggle to work well together. Told through a business fable, the book highlights five common issues that damage teamwork: absence of trust, fear of conflict, lack of commitment, avoidance of accountability, and inattention to results. Each dysfunction builds on the one before it, creating a weak team dynamic if not addressed. Lencioni emphasizes that strong teams start with vulnerability and trust, where members feel safe to speak openly and challenge ideas. The book offers practical tools and advice to overcome these issues, helping leaders build cohesive, high-performing teams that communicate better, commit to shared goals, and hold each other accountable for results.
