Common medications like Clavam 625, Shelcal 500, and Pan-D were listed, with issues such as assay failure, pH imbalance, and dissolution test failures. This highlights the importance of staying updated on drug safety and ensuring the effectiveness of prescribed medications.

2. NMC's 2024 CBME Curriculum: Suicide Risk Assessment Skill Now Mandatory for MBBS Students

3. Longer Labor Duration During Second-Trimester Medication Abortions Raises Risk of Adverse Maternal Outcomes: Study

Women who experienced longer labor duration had higher frequency of composite morbidity compared with women with shorter labor duration. Primary outcome was composite morbidity, defined as uterine rupture, need for blood transfusion, clinical chorioamnionitis, ICU admission or need for hospital readmission.

4. Saline nasal drops reduce duration of common cold in young children by two days: Study

Children who received saline nasal drops experienced cold symptoms for an average of six days, compared to eight days in children who received standard care. The study also found that saline nasal drops reduced the likelihood of other family members catching the cold. Only 46% of families using the drops reported that other members of the household caught the child's cold, compared to 61% of families who followed conventional cold treatment methods.
